NW Storages is committed to making nwstorages.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we have done

This website was rebuilt and relaunched in October 2026. As part of the launch, every page template and all 21 facility pages were tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using automated tooling, followed by manual keyboard testing of the main navigation, the facility finder, the reservation widget, the contact form, and the mobile menu. Issues found in that testing were corrected before this statement was published, including text and button colors that did not meet contrast requirements, missing labels on image gallery controls, and missing focus indicators on form fields.

We review the site on an ongoing basis and correct accessibility issues as they are identified.

Known limitations

Some parts of this website are provided by third parties, and we do not control their code:

  • The unit availability and reservation tool on each facility page is provided by QuikStor. We have adjusted its colors to meet contrast requirements and confirmed it can be operated by keyboard. If you have difficulty reserving a unit online, call the facility directly and our staff will complete the reservation for you.
  • Facility maps are provided by Google Maps. The same location information is available as text on each facility page.
  • Our cookie consent tool is provided by Usercentrics.

Text within images, such as facility logos, is not read by screen readers. The facility name appears as text on every facility page.
