Yes. Storage at NW Storages is month-to-month, so you rent only for as long as you need the space, whether that’s a single season for a boat or RV or several years for household belongings.
Most of our facilities offer heated units, and several offer both heated and unheated options so you can choose the level of protection your belongings need. Heated storage is especially useful during wet, cold Pacific Northwest winters for furniture, electronics, documents, clothing, and musical instruments that can be damaged by freezing temperatures or moisture. Our facilities offer spaces ranging from small closet-sized units for a few boxes up to extra-large garage-size units and, at some locations, extra-tall contractor spaces. For most one-bedroom apartments a 5×10 is enough for a mattress, small furniture, and several boxes; a 10×10 gives room for larger furniture or space to move around inside. Each renter receives a unique customer code for the facility’s computerized keypad gate, giving you secure, personal access every day of the week. Most facilities offer extended access hours so you can visit before or after a typical workday. Access hours vary by location and are listed on each facility’s page.
Our facilities are fully gated with computerized keypad access and a unique gate code for every renter, well-lit, and monitored. Depending on the location you’ll also find individually alarmed unit doors, video monitoring, nightly security patrols, and an on-site residence so someone is always nearby. Every unit comes with a complimentary hi-security lock and tamper-resistant locking.
Yes. Many of our facilities offer RV and boat storage, with covered and uncovered spaces and wide driving aisles designed for maneuvering large vehicles and watercraft. Month-to-month leasing means you can rent only during the seasons you need it. Availability and space sizes vary by location, so check your facility’s page or call to confirm.
Absolutely. We offer business storage for excess files and inventory, extra-large contractor spaces built for tools, equipment, and supplies, and a multiple space discount for businesses that need more than one unit. Some facilities also offer shelving purchase and setup to help you stay organized from day one.
Yes. New renters receive a complimentary U-Haul move-in truck rental to help get your belongings to the facility, so you don’t have to arrange a separate truck across town. Ask your facility’s team about availability and details when you reserve.
Yes. Our facilities carry boxes, tape, and other packing essentials on site so you can pick up what you need during business hours without an extra trip. Renters also receive discounted boxes and moving supplies.
Yes. We offer storage options for active-duty service members and veterans, with month-to-month terms that fit around deployments and relocations. Contact your nearest facility to learn what’s available for military renters.
Yes. Several of our facilities are close to local colleges and offer smaller units and lockers at reasonable rates, a good fit for storing belongings over summer break, during a semester abroad, or between apartments.
